Hamlet at The Harold Pinter Theatre in Westminster

If you feel like heading to the theatre this weekend but are unsure about what you should go and see, then head to the Harold Pinter Theatre on Panton Street to watch Hamlet. This adaptation of the classic play has moved locations after a sell-out run at the Almeida Theatre. This classic story about a Danish prince who is mourning the death of his father is brought to live by the superb Andrew Scott. He will be joined by the celebrated actresses Juliet Stevenson and Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay for one of Shakespeare’s most famous masterpieces. Only a short journey from our Westminster office, drop in and say hello to our team if you’re interested in looking at properties to rent or properties to buy in the area.

These are the Make Space Studios that allow artists from all backgrounds to have their own space to work. This weekend, the Make Space Studios will be open to the public and these independent artists will be offering a rare glimpse inside their studios and offering the opportunity to buy their artwork without any commission. Ashley Bickerton at Newport Street Gallery in Lambeth

The famous Newport Street Gallery is currently hosting an exhibition called Ornamental Hysteria by Ashely Bickerton, which spans over three decades of his career and contains 51 pieces of work. The exhibition, which will be taking over all six spaces within the gallery, will also include Bickerton’s newest pieces as well as some unseen pieces. Made famous by the ‘Neo-Geometric Conceptual’ movement, Bickerton wanted to change the practice of art creation due to the mechanisms of desire in society. If you are a fan of Bickerton’s previous work or enjoy discovering modern art, this exhibition is worth making time for this weekend!

Jürgen Partenheimer: Lichtschwarm at White Cube in Bermondsey

This will be Jürgen Partenheimer's first exhibition in London and will include paintings, sculptures, unique ceramics as well as drawings on paper ranging from 1975 up to the present day. Famous for his poetic approach to his abstract works, this has allowed him to create multidimensional forms of expression in his work. In order to create different aspects of perception, he uses a combination of asymmetry and imperfection in his work. After studying fine art, art history and philosophy he eventually became well recognized due to his participation in the biennials of Paris, Sao Paulo and Venice. If you’ve not been to the White Cube gallery in Bermondsey before, go this weekend! Only a short walk along the Thames from our London Bridge office. If you’re interested in looking at properties to rent or properties to buy in the area, drop in and say hello to our team.
