Royal Gifts Exhibition at Buckingham Palace

As part of the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace, this year there will be a special exhibition of the Royal Gifts. This will tell the story of The Queen’s reign through a wide range of beautiful and ornate official gifts that have been presented to her over the past 65 years. There will be gifts representing every continent from world leaders such as former South African President Nelson Mandela, President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China and former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower. This exhibition aims to celebrate the spectacular craftsmanship that has gone into every gift from across the globe and allow the general public to get a glimpse at their beauty.

Catastrophists Play in Kennington

Catastrophists is an original play by Jack Stanley playing at the White Bear Theatre this weekend. Characters Raf and Harry head to the Cotswolds for a relaxing holiday but find themselves in an awkward altercation with their neighbours who turn out to be a apocalyptic survivalist cult. Set around a dining table, the group find themselves locked in a battle of ideas and principles that leaves them all questioning everything they stand for. This dark humoured play focusses on class, cooking and communes in an age where the threat of global disaster lingers and it questions whether anyone is as civilised as we would all like to think we are. Only a very short bus ride from our Kennington office, drop in and say hello if you’re keen to find out more about properties to rent or properties to buy in the surrounding area.
