A little bit about me:
I have worked in the London property industry for the past 15 years at various large organisations. Starting my career in the Tenancy Renewals department and moved from there into a Residential Lettings role. Previous to this when I first moved from Scotland I worked in the financial industry for a large Investment Bank. I am now the Lettings Director at Daniel Cobb, with overall responsibility for Lettings and Property Management across the company. My primary role is to set the strategic direction for the department and make sure we maintain Daniel Cobb's high level of customer service.
What i do out of work:
I can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie and enjoy snowboarding and surfing depending on the weather. My true passion is cars and enjoy a day racing with both classic and performance vehicles.
What do you enjoy about your role and working at Daniel Cobb:
I was delighted when I was first offer the role at Daniel Cobb as it is a family run company with strong ethics that it is constantly growing and moving forwards. Over the years I have seen improvements on every level across the company; be it customer service, branding, or the professional advice that we can offer our clients. Another key factor in my longevity with the company is the team. They are very outgoing, fun and engaging individuals which makes for an exciting environment to work in.
With regards to my role in the company I love the flexibility that it enjoys; I am not tied to my computer all day long. I love being able to get out and about, meet new people all the time, and the variety of the work I do on a daily basis. No two days are ever the same!
Successes to date:
1. Promotion from Lettings Manager of the Kennington office to Lettings Director across the company.
2. Working with my team to increasing the performance & profitably of the Lettings department year on year.
3. The Lettings department at Daniel Cobb recently winning a silver award for customer service at the Sunday Times and Times Letting Agency of the Year 2015 awards.
