Bloomberg ‘New Contemporaries’ Exhibition at ICA in St. James

The Bloomberg 'New Contemporaries' exhibition is now showing at the ICA on Pall Mall, and is a fantastic platform which showcases the works of recent fine art graduates, keen to make their mark on the art scene. 46 artists have been selected for this year's exhibition, and join an illustrious roster of New Contemporaries alumni, of which Damien Hirst is included. Works produced are using a variety of media - using traditional materials and techniques, alongside digital applications and processes - whilst this year's themes include: mass-production, gender equality, cultural identity and social economics.

London Mime Festival at Southbank Centre in Southbank

The London Mime festival is currently underway in London. Now in it's 40th year, this is the longest established international theatre season and features 17 companies who are giving over 120 performances in venues across the city, including the Southbank Centre. The programme covers a range of performances, from live art, circus theatre, mask, puppetry, movement and object theatre. Bump Roller-Disco at Southbank Centre in Southbank

This weekend is your last chance to enjoy the Bump Roller-Disco - a seasonal pop-up and warmer alternative to all the ice skating rinks that have appeared all over London this winter. This mobile roller-disco has made the Southbank Centre its home for the past few months and is a great family-friendly way to enjoy the day. The roller disco is open daily from 3 pm to 11 pm Mon-Fri and 11 am to 11 pm at the weekends for some festive fun (open to all aged 3+). Roller-skate your way around the rink to some of the best tunes with all your nearest and dearest.

Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Road at White Bear Theatre in Kennington

'Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Rd.' is now showing at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington, and is the European premiere of this thrilling comedy written by Keith Stevenson and directed by Harry Burton. 'Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Rd' first opened in LA in 2012 where it won critical acclaim and a cult following - in fact it was so beloved by audiences that two sequels followed. Paper, Tiger, Poetry Event at Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall

The monthly 'Paper Tiger Poetry' event is taking place at the Tea House Theatre this Friday, 20th January from 7:30 pm. 'Paper Tiger Poetry' is a fantastic platform for unpublished poets to come and showcase their work in front of a live audience. The evening will feature a few headline acts, including: Mystery Acts, Chip Hamer, Office Girls Go Crazy, Becky Fury, and many more. And, additionally there are the usual open mic slots, so you can come along and have a go yourself.
