What’s On This Weekend: Pimlico Road Farmers’ Market, The North Lambeth Parish Fete & Art at The Bridge

Pimlico Road Farmers’ Market in Pimlico

Every Sunday in the leafy Orange Square in Pimlico, also known as Mozart Square, there is a lovely weekly farmers’ market. With plenty of space to sit around and soak up the atmosphere on a sunny day, this is also the perfect spot to buy fresh fruits, juices, fresh pasta, free range eggs, lots of quality meat and poultry and fresh fish and shellfish. The smell of artisan breads and cheeses is also quite hard to miss. This particular farmers’ market has previously won the Love London Awards and for good reason. This is a great way to get outdoors on Sunday morning as the market is open from 9am until 1pm. Only a short journey from our Westminster office, drop in and say hello to our team if you’re interested in looking at properties to rent or properties to buy in the area.

Memory Maps in SE11: Walking Stories in Kennington

This weekend at the Durning Library, studio ëpp will be presenting Memory Maps SE11. This is a series of walking routes that are inspired by interviews with people from the Kennington and Vauxhall community. Residents and people connected to the area were about their general places of interest and then each interview was turned into a digital walking guide. The interviews span as far back as the 1950’s, right up to the present day and highlight the changing landscape of the area over that period. This is a great thing to learn about if you’ve just moved to the area or want to learn more about the area you live in; you could even have a go at following some of the routes yourself. Only a very short bus ride from our Kennington office drop if you’re keen to find out more about properties to rent or properties to buy in the area!
