Covid19 update

The B.L.U.F

The British Army has a briefing tool called the B.L.U.F. It stands for the Bottom Line Up Front. It is a very effective way of giving the intended recipient the key information especially when they are short on time. So, here is Daniel Cobb’s B.L.U.F. and if you have a bit more time, there is more detail below..

  1. We have temporarily closed our offices for both yours and our team's safety
  2. We have a fully operating team working from home
  3. We love wonky videos- Live virtual viewings and valuations are happening every day, the wonkier the better
  4. We are inspired every day by incredible acts of kindness and we are here to help, so please ask us what support you need.

Position of strength

The Coronavirus crisis is having a significant impact on everyone’s personal and professional lives.  Over the last few weeks, Daniel Cobb has focussed on mobilising our teams to work remotely to ensure that we continue to provide the great service our clients have come to expect. Thankfully Daniel Cobb has entered this crisis from a position of strength and we now have all of our teams working productively from home, available through email, phone or video links.

Wonky videos

Want to view a property or for us to give you a valuation? We have a range of options for you.

  1. Video viewings: For all the sales and letting properties we have on the market, we have recorded a short video tour. These are available on our Daniel Cobb Youtube channel. Call our team and they will happily send you the link.
  2. Virtual viewings. Seen something you like? We can arrange a Zoom call with the vendor or the landlord. We have already successfully run a virtual viewing with a buyer and vendor using Zoom and is something that is easy to do and we are very happy to facilitate.
  3. Virtual Valuations: The lockdown is, we all hope, a short term measure, so let us help you make good use of the time by getting you an accurate valuation of your property which we can still achieve via video conference.

Acts of kindness

We would like to thank all our clients and suppliers who have offered to help in some way. Our brilliant team is also out helping the communities we serve. If you need help or support in any way, whether that is collecting a prescription, access to a reliable maintenance team, or just a chat, please get in touch. We’d love to help.

We hope at this time you, your family and friends are staying safe and well.

The Coronavirus crisis is having a significant impact on everyone’s personal and professional lives.  Over the last few weeks, the firm has focussed on mobilising our teams to work remotely to ensure that we continue to provide the great service our clients have come to expect.

Thankfully Daniel Cobb has entered this crisis from a position of strength and we now have all of our teams working productively from home, available through email, phone or video links.

All of our partners remain in position with appropriate support ready to serve our clients’ ongoing requirements.

Recognising the short term impact on our transactional business, we have decided to furlough a number of our employees under the government employee retention scheme from Wednesday 1 April. We anticipate all of those employees will return once the lockdown is over and the market returns to some degree of normality.

We are committed to providing support to all of our clients during this difficult time.
