Tenants Fees

At Daniel Cobb we pride ourselves on transparency and that’s why we publish a full list of associated costs when you’re securing a property through us. Depending on the agreement we have with the Landlord the tenancy charges may vary so we always recommend asking the property consultant managing your offer for a full break down of costs that would be relevant for you. That being said to avoid any unwanted surprises when it comes to signing the contract here is a list of what you can typically expect to pay:

Rent  Typically payable monthly in advance unless negotiated otherwise
Deposit  Typically five weeks rent per property

During Tenancy

Throughout the tenancy and at the end of the tenancy there are other costs that must be covered on top of the rent. These might include:

  • Utilities (gas, electricity, water and telephone)
  • Council Tax
  • Television licence
  • Installation of cable/satellite
  • Insurance (for your own contents)
  • Garden maintenance
  • Professional cleaning of the property
  • Dilapidations
