Will The Cut make the cut in GBHS' great street contest?

Held annually, The Great British High Street contest is one of several events residents of Waterloo properties engage in

Lower Marsh and The Cut in SE1 have now reached the finals of the Great British High Street competition for 2016. The Great British High Street is a not-for-profit, government funded initiative that supports those working to revive, adapt and diversify high streets. It aims to provide resources for high street regeneration and celebrate innovative work going on in high streets across Britain.

Its annual competition has been designed to focus on the brightest and best high street improvements. After fighting off huge competition, Lower Marsh and The Cut made it to the finals in the London category competing against Myddleton Road in Haringey and Romford, in Havering.

The competition closes soon so there's not much time left to add your vote. As an SE1 estate agent, Daniel Cobb is delighted to support this local bid and our staff have been busy voting. "Local residents worked hard to transform Lower Marsh & The Cut from a little-known street behind Waterloo station into one of London۪s most dynamic and trendy areas. Known for its focus on food and drink, it is now a popular and much loved neighbourhood in the heart of London."
