Green Park lives up to its name with a new wildflower meadow

According to Loyd Grossman CBE, Chairman of the new Royal Parks charity, the royal parks are not just the green lungs of the capital, they are The heart, the brain and the soul of London they are key parts of what makes this city the greatest in the world. It's fitting, then, that these parks are leading the way when it comes to plant conservation. Responding to a 2012 report, by the conservation charity Plantlife, which highlighted the number of wild flowers the UK has lost since the Queen۪s Coronation in 1953, staff at Green Park have opened a new flower meadow. The meadow, planted with seeds sourced from the West Sussex Coronation Meadow, was officially 'opened' by HRH The Prince of Wales. & It has been named The Queen۪s Meadow۪ in honour of the Queen۪s 90th birthday year. At Daniel Cobb we recognise the vital role the capital۪s green spaces play in maintaining a good quality of life for residents, especially in the busy central areas we serve.
