A glimpse into Lambeth's bright future

Lambeth is a sought-after district for buyers of London property

On the 10th October 2016, Lambeth Council brought together organisations at a conference entitled "Future Lambeth" to discuss a blueprint for improving life for everyone who lives, works or studies in Lambeth. The Council's plan sets out targets for a wide range of areas including education, employment, housing, health and the community.

Cllr Lib Peck, leader of Lambeth Council, has invited local people to help drive forward the proposed changes. He says "Lambeth has changed massively across the board in recent years, with huge improvements including the achievements of our schools, the amount of investment coming into the borough and the jobs and homes that this has brought, but we want to build on those improvements."

As a Lambeth estate agent, Daniel Cobb is eager to do its bit to help the council achieve its aims. We already have close ties with the community and will continue to sponsor the vibrant local festivals and events that make Lambeth such a great place to live. If you are interested in Lambeth properties for sale or rent, pop in to our Kennington office to arrange a viewing.

We also have some lovely Kennington homes on our books and if you'd like to know more about this leafy neighbourhood, read Spotlight on the Oval and smart Kennington properties. Another great read, especially if you're looking for an investment property which will yield long term returns is Will Kennington property benefit from 'the battersea effect'

"Lambeth Residents are to be asked to help drive forward the improvements that will make the borough a stronger, fairer and more prosperous place over the next five years. Lambeth Council and partners including community organisations, businesses, health services and police, have drawn up a blueprint for improving life for everyone who lives, works or studies in the borough."
