A little bit about me:
Having graduated University up in Newcastle, I ventured down South to the ‘bright lights’ of London. I initially worked at Conde Nast Publications for 8 years. Working my way up to the brand sales and marketing manager for 4 of their prestige titles (Vogue, House & Garden, Tatler & GQ). I then took a ‘life decision’, and moved out of town to start a family. I set up my own hand made kitchen company, using a very skilled cabinet maker up in Yorkshire. The business grew quickly and successfully. However, another 'life decision' was made and I ended up back in London with my children. I have been at the company since 2012, and I haven’t looked back. They have the same work ethic as me, work hard for your client and always do the very best for them that you possibly can. Having a happy client is as rewarding as the thrill of the sale!
What I do out of work:
I love spending time with my children and partner. Doing things with them, I feel, gives me and them a very ‘rounded’ outlook. We all like cycling, skiing, and I have recently been teaching them how to drive at my parents farm in Yorkshire (even though they are only 8 & 11). After a recent holiday, my son has now become a keen cook after helping me prepare meals. We all have regular ‘date nights’ now where the children cook and waitress for us. Very special.
What I enjoy about working at Daniel Cobb:
I’ve always been very interested in houses, interiors and how people make different space work. So putting my passion together with my marketing experience seemed to be a very good career path for me. Finding Daniel Cobb, a family firm with a very positive approach to customer service, was like a ‘breath of fresh air’ in the world of estate agency. I love the freedom I am offered to give clients the attention they deserve, instead of working to a firm schedule of ‘so many calls per hour’ and treating clients as a number.
Proudest moments to date:
My commitment to customer service:
I will always give you the best advice possible, and it will always be an honest opinion - even if that means we miss out on selling the property for you.
